Marty Favor is an Associate Professor of English at Dartmouth College.  He also teaches African American Studies and has served as the Chair of that Program.  He is the author of the book Authentic Blackness and has published on topics such as slavery and tourism, satire in the Harlem Renaissance, contemporary African American fiction, and Da Ali G Show.   He received his PhD from the University of Michigan.

Jeff Feingold is the Editor of the NEW HAMPSHIRE BUSINESS REVIEW and its associated daily news web site www.NHBR.com.  He has been the editor of the bi-weekly business tabloid since 1993 and editor of the web site since its founding last year.  In 2003 the Small Business Administration acclaimed him the outstanding small business journalist in the country.

Lewis M. Feldstein is President of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation www.nhcf.org. The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is New Hampshire’s statewide community foundation, a powerful force for change and the principal source of venture capital for the state’s nonprofit community.  The Foundation finished 2007 with close to $490 million in total assets, received more than $73 million in contributions, and distributed more than $32 million in grants, scholarships and initiatives. 

Feldstein worked with the civil rights movement in Mississippi and served for seven years in senior staff positions to New York City Mayor John V. Lindsay.  Prior to coming to the Charitable Foundation, Feldstein served as Provost of the Antioch/New England Graduate School.  He is a graduate of Brown University and holds a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University.  Among his singular achievements were seven-year tenure as the MC of the International Zucchini Festival, and a stint as wine steward and personal assistant to John Wayne on his yacht in the Mediterranean.

Feldstein serves on several boards, including the Boards of Directors of the Independent Sector and Civic Ventures.  He Co-Chaired with Robert Putnam the Harvard University three-year Executive Seminar Civic Engagement in America (www.ksg.harvard.edu/saguaro).  With Putnam he is a co-author of the book Better Together: Restoring the American Community published in the fall of 2003.  He has received six Honorary Doctorates.  Feldstein was selected as one of The 2008 NonProfit Times Power and Influence Top 50 members of the nonprofit world, one of the 100 people Who Shaped New Hampshire in the 20th Century, published by the Concord Monitor, and one of the ten most influential people in New Hampshire by Business NH Magazine in 2001 and again in 2007.

I have been the Director of Public Works for the Town of Derry since 2004. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Civil Engineering and I hold a professional engineering license for New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I have fifteen years of professional experience in the municipal engineering field, previously working for the Town of Seabrook and City of Peabody, Massachusetts. I have responsibility over several divisions including the Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste and Highway divisions. I am a native of New Hampshire, growing up in Seabrook and currently living in Hampton Falls. My family is comprised of my wife Tina and two sons Maxwell and Connor.

Lindsey Franklin

She has been active within the climate change movement for the past two years with the Sunday Night Group, Middlebury's growing environmental group that focuses on climate change action. She currently lives in Concord, NH working on the March to ReEnergize NH.
